Trishlaa was born from a deep-rooted inspiration drawn from Nehal's grandmother, who owned just five sarees for daily wear. Whenever she acquired a new one, she would donate an old one, embodying the principle of Aparigraha – the idea of non-possessiveness and generosity. This simple yet profound practice of giving and sharing has significantly influenced the ethos of Trishlaa.
Growing up, I witnessed the powerful impact of community and sustainable living principles through my entire family. This personal experience, combined with my professional journey in the circular textiles and climate tech space, has fuelled my passion for sustainable living practices. Trishlaa represents the convergence of these personal and professional experiences.
Through Trishlaa, we aspire to lead by example, showing that sustainable fashion is not just a trend but a necessary shift towards a more circular and inclusive economy.
